Join me, August 30, 2013 at PICA, the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art, for a workshop on the language of the unconscious. New York artist Anna Craycroft is hosting a series called C’mon Language collaborating with various artists on topics of language, pedagogy, and communication.
In this workshop, we will explore some core concepts of the unconscious mind and its reality in our daily lives. Through presentation and individual exercises, we will dive into an understanding of how the personal unconscious and the archetypal unconscious affect our relationships, our sense of identity, and what we choose to create in the world. We’ll explore dreams and projections to learn about the imagination and what the language of the unconscious is expressing, in ourselves and others.
Join us! August 30, 2013 from 4pm-6pm at The Portland Institute for Contemporary Art.
